Larry Bridgesmith, J.D.​


Larry is an entrepreneur and practicing lawyer. He co-founded and serves as CEO of LegalAlignment, a company focused on the application of Lean technology support  in the practice of law. He also co-founded, with other members of The Disruption Lab, LifeFilez, a company providing convenient organization and access to important life documents.​

His practice in organizational change management has taken him across the country and around the world. Bringing innovation to industries ripe for disruption is his passion. Larry has worked with clients from the Fortune 50 to family owned entities in managing business practice change in law, health care, manufacturing, education and faith based organizations.​

Larry coordinates the Program on Law and Innovation at Vanderbilt School of Law and is an adjunct professor in legal project management, conflict management and mediation at Vanderbilt School of Law, The Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at Arizona State University, The Nashville School of Law and the Albany Medical School.​

In 2017 Larry was honored by his peers with the President’s Award from the Tennessee State Bar and the Justice Janice Holder Award from the Equal Justice University for technology innovation in legal services delivery.​

He founded Lipscomb University’s Institute for Conflict Management and served as its inaugural Executive Director. He is listed as one of America’s Best Lawyers, among the Leading Lawyers for American Businesses and SuperLawyer. Larry has practiced in the fields of labor, employment and dispute resolution for over 30 years and served in management roles for boutique and mid-sized law firms throughout his career.​

​Larry holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certificate. His Juris Doctorate in Law is from Wayne State University Law School.​
