Steve Braun has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in digital strategy development and implementation at top multi-channel businesses. He has extensive business unit and P & L management experience of online business units with some sites ranked in the top 100 in digital transactions/revenue in the world.
He has extensive expertise in B2B and B2C eCommerce, product management, new digital and omni-channel products and services development, online marketing, mobile, database, social, content, personalization and international marketing. Steve has held executive leader positions in eCommerce and digital strategy at Ritchie Brothers in Vancouver, OfficeMax/Office Depot in Chicago, Tractor Supply Company in Nashville, Harland-Clarke in San Antonio, W.W. Grainger in Chicago, Aetna in Hartford, FedEx in Memphis and DHL in San Francisco.
Steve has supported the shift from early-state eCommerce to the integration of multichannel business, operations, financial systems and marketing along with user-generated content into organizations’ overall strategic plans. Key aspects included integration of mobile and social media into websites, enabling online ordering and building the needed email, operational, security and customer service functions to support multi-channel sales. He has been responsible for enhancing multi-channel business models by helping integrate on-line functionality with enhanced usability and integrated user pathways into traditional business models. Steve also has extensive international marketing experience having helped a number of companies build their global marketing, customer relationship management programs and product management processes.
He has been an adjunct professor at Belmont University in Nashville and has an extensive background in public speaking focusing on the shift to digital business models and business intelligence at public conferences, private functions and colleges and universities.
